Smart Precision Cleaning Machine Demand Surges: Industry Market Size Expected to Exceed 21 Billion Yuan in 2026
Recently, a relevant industry report showed that China's automated cleaning equipment industry continues its steady expansion, with the market size expected to reach 21.09 billion yuan in 2026, an increase of 12.6% compared to 2025. Among this, intelligent precision cleaning machines, driven by their wide application in high-end manufacturing, have become the core driver of industry growth. Under the dual influence of policy support and downstream demand, market demand continues to surge.
It is understood that the Implementation Opinions on Enhancing Manufacturing Reliability (2025–2030) issued by the National Development and Reform Commission explicitly includes the cleaning process as a key quality control point in manufacturing. It requires leading enterprises in key industries to complete upgrades to achieve an automation rate of no less than 85% in cleaning processes by the end of 2026. The resulting equipment upgrade investment in the automotive and electronics sectors alone is estimated to reach 4.23 billion yuan. Meanwhile, the *Three-Year Action Plan for Green Manufacturing Transformation (2025–2027)* issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments lists automated cleaning equipment as the top priority in the catalog of key process replacement equipment, further boosting its penetration across industries.
On the supply side, the industry has entered a state of structural tightness. Since the fourth quarter of 2025, the average order delivery time for 12 major cleaning equipment manufacturers in China has extended to 5.8 months, an increase of 1.4 months compared to the same period in 2024. Capacity utilization rates remain generally above 92.6%, providing strong support for price stability and improved profitability. On the technological front, the industry is accelerating its upgrade cycle. A new generation of intelligent precision cleaning machines featuring AI vision defect recognition, self-learning cleaning parameters, and closed-loop solvent recovery systems has achieved mass delivery. Although their average unit price is 37.4% higher than that of traditional models, they already account for 29.6% of new contracts, signaling a shift from volume-driven growth to value-driven growth.
The export market has also performed remarkably. In 2025, China's export value of automated cleaning equipment reached 1.47 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.9%, primarily destined for emerging manufacturing hubs such as Vietnam, Mexico, and Poland. Among them, companies like Zhejiang Yizhi Machinery and Suzhou Delisi Cleaning Systems have seen their share of overseas revenue continue to rise, highlighting the growing competitiveness of domestically produced intelligent precision cleaning machines in terms of cost-effectiveness, local service responsiveness, and customization capabilities.
Industry insiders indicate that the intelligent precision cleaning machine sector has now entered a positive development phase characterized by "deepening technological barriers, increasing customer stickiness, and improving profitability models." Driven by the combined forces of strong policy support, a clear downstream expansion cycle, an open window for technological iteration, and sustained improvements in earnings quality, the industry not only possesses solid short-term growth momentum but has also built a strong foundation for medium- and long-term value creation. It will continue to empower the high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of the manufacturing sector.
